They did an okay job with my damaged tapes overall. I appreciated that they were able to work with them at all, but the updates took longer than I expected, and one of the transfers came out a bit rough. It was better than trying to figure it out myself, but...

I tried vio2tape after realizing I had a pile of old tapes with random notes and no real system. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the labels came back really clear and easy to follow, which saved me from a lot of guessing.

Now everything is organized by name and date, and I can actually find what I’m looking for. If anyone else has used them for old family tapes or archives, I’d be curious if your results were this smooth too, because it made a simple thing way more helpful than I expected.

I tried placing an order, but the checkout process was so confusing. I kept clicking around and ending up back where I started, like the site just wasn’t helping me move forward at all. After about ten minutes of going in circles, I felt dismissed and just gave up.

I had a few old tapes converted to digital, and the sound turned out good overall. The voices were clear and the music came through fine. One tape still had a little hiss, but it was old, so I wasn’t too surprised. I’m happy with how it came out and would use them again.

I wasn’t really happy with how the final price showed up at the end. It felt a bit confusing, like I didn’t fully know what I was getting into until after going through the whole thing. I just wish the pricing was more clear upfront, because that would’ve made it less annoying for me

I sent my tapes to Vio2tape hoping they could clean up the colors a bit and make the footage look more balanced. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but I did expect it to look at least somewhat improved.

Instead, a lot of the final video came back looking washed out and off. Some scenes had this weird blue tint, while others were way too dark, and it didn’t feel like anyone gave it a proper quality check before sending it back.
I get that old tapes can be tricky and there’s only so much you can do with aging footage, but this just didn’t feel worth the money to me. I’d probably go with a different service next time

There was only one delivery option available, which was kind of annoying for me. I mean, it worked, but... I just wish there had been a few more choices...

I ordered from vio2tape.com the shipping went super smoothly!! Got the tracking info quick, and the package actually showed up exactly when it said it would... which doesn’t always happen, lol. No delays, no weird waiting around, no issues at all!!! Happy with the whole experience overall

I used vio2tape.com to transfer an old tape it turned out good. What I noticed most was the small stuff, the labeling, keeping everything in the right order, just those little details that make a difference. The video quality was better than I expected for such an old tape. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, but still, I’m happy I went with them...

I was going to try vio2tape, but the formats they take seemed kind of limited to me. I’ve got some older tapes and a couple of them weren’t really on the list, so I couldn’t get very far with it. The site itself is fine, more or less, I just wish they handled more tape types.

The box showed up with barely any padding, so the tape rolls were kind of banged up and dented inside. Weirdly, I remember there was one tiny piece of packing paper shoved off to the side like it was supposed to help, but it definitely didn’t do much

I’m not sure if it was just me or my connection, but the download link took forever to load and kept failing when I tried to access the files. It was frustrating because I had to keep retrying and wasn’t sure if I was doing something wrong

Yeah, they technically fixed it, but the sound still cuts out, so I’m not exactly thrilled. Feels like these guys did the bare minimum and called it a day...

I have mixed feelings about it. When it actually worked, I was happy with the results, but it felt like one of those things that works when it wants to. It was a bit slow, and the instructions or process weren’t super clear, so I found myself getting frustrated at times.

It worked just fine for what I needed. The DVD option was a little slower than I expected, but overall it got the job done. I’d still use it again if I needed something like this in the future
